Paquita Sanvicén-Torné
Paquita Sanvicén-Torné has a degree in teaching, a degree in Philology, a Master’s degree in applied linguistics: planning and linguistic services and a doctorate in Sociology. She is an associate professor at the University of Lleida, where she teaches Sociology and Methodology in the Social Work degree, while also advising final degree projects. She is a researcher at the Group of Studies on Society, Health, Education and Culture (GESEC). Coordinates the Reflection Group on Contemporary Sociology (GERCS). Beyond the University of Lleida, he collaborates in projects of research teams of the University of Valencia, Rovira i Virgili University and the Institute of Andorran Studies. He is a member of the management team of the Committee of Sociology of Education of the Spanish Federation of Sociology. His interests and lines of research are framed in the areas of linguistic policy; dependence; active aging; impact of virtual socialization and intercommunication spaces as training agents; gender immigration and interculturality and prevention of violence. She is the author and co-author of articles, books and communications to congresses on these topics. Recently, he has co-directed the project Prevention of Violence from Birth. Spaces for socialization and positive conflict prevention, centered on the territory of Lleida.
