Esther Roca Campos
Esther Roca Campos is a part-time lecturer in the Department of Inclusive Education, Social-Community Development and Occupational Sciences. She has currently developed the PhD thesis, “Scientific, Political and Social Impact of Teacher Training Based on Successful Educational Actions: The Case of the Dialogical Pedagogical Gathering ‘On the Shoulders of the Giants’ of Valencia”, coordinated by the University of Barcelona and the University of Valencia. Also, She is part of the project INTER-ACT “Interactive learning environments for the inclusion of students with a without disabilities: improving learning, development and relationships”, of the National R+D+i Program. Since 2004, she has worked in a variety of social and educational contexts, always attending to people at risk of exclusion, and has been an inclusive education adviser in Generalitat Valenciana for 4 years and coordinator within the Inclusive School in the Education Department in the Valencia Regional Government (Spain) for 3 years. Her work is characterized by having included in the training programs on educational inclusion and prevention of violence in the Valencian territory (2013-2016), the actions and educational orientations with the endorsement of the International Scientific Community, whose social impact has been analyzed in journals such as Qualitative Inquiry, Frontiers in Psychology and the IMPACT-EV project, of the 7th European framework program. Her lines of research include the study of teacher training, educational inclusion, preventive socialization of gender violence and educational and social impact. She has published on these topics in journals such as Qualitative Inquiry and Frontiers in Psychology. She is Editor of Journal Multidisciplinary Journal of Educational Research that indexed in SCOPUS and ESCI of Thomson and Reuters.
