Javier Garcia Alba is a fifth-year resident at the Sant Joan de Reus University Hospital, specializing in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology (COT). He has been accepted to perform an external rotation at La Paz University Hospital in Madrid, specifically in the reference unit at the state level of shoulder and elbow pathology. Also noteworthy is the rotation carried out in one of the most pioneering hospitals in Europe in children’s orthopedics, Sant Joan de Déu Hospital and also the rotation carried out in the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge in Barcelona.
Javier García is involved in several researches promoted by his service, highlighting that he is the COT responsible of the interdisciplinary orthogeriatric unit of the Sant Joan de Reus University Hospital, awarded by the International Osteoporosis Foundation in the Fracture Liaison Services program. García Alba has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Rovira i Virgili University and has completed the Master in Integration and Resolution of Clinical Problems in Medicine at the University of Alcalá.

Residente de quinto año en el hospital universitario Sant Joan de Reus, en la especialidad de Cirugía Ortopédica y Traumatología (COT). Ha sido aceptado para realizar una rotación externa en el hospital Universitario La Paz de Madrid, específicamente en la unidad de referencia a nivel estatal de patología de hombro y codo. Destacar también la rotación realizada en uno de los hospitales más pioneros a nivel europeo en ortopedia infantil, el Hospital Sant Joan de Déu y también la rotación realizada en el hospital Universitari de Bellvitge en Barcelona. Javier García está involucrado en diversas investigaciones promovidas por su servicio, destacar que es el responsable COT de la unidad interdisciplinar de ortogeriatría del Hospital Universitario Sant Joan de Reus, premiada por la International Osteoporosis Foundation en el programa Fracture Liaison Services. García Alba es licenciado en Medicina y Cirugía por la Universitat Rovira i Virgili y ha realizado el Máster en Integración y Resolución de Problemas Clínicos en Medicina de la Universidad de Alcalá.
